I made a ton of really bad life and relationship decisions after my bike crash in 2013. During the Summer of 2019, I finally felt “settled” again and realized that I was in the worst physical shape of my adult life. I was in a life situation with a great partner and a solid career, so I felt that my 40th birthday year was a great time to seize a new opportunity and launch into the next decade with a huge fitness base and a lofty goal. My middle name is Hope, after my father’s cousin who lived her entire life in an “Iron Lung” during the polio era. It’s a reminder of the conditions we have faced in history and the one we’re dealing with now. What I found at TMP is an astounding community of incredible, supportive, inspiring, awesomely hard working, reach for the sky, badass humans. Not once have they questioned my body's ability to work hard to realize my dream. Never am I treated as lesser than or out of place. To the contrary: I am welcomed, included, inspired, and encouraged. Emily, Colleen and Mike are heroes to me because of how they approach life and training and teaching.  I feel incredibly grateful to be a part of TMP community and recognize how deeply they have touched both my and my family's lives.

Yes, it’s a thing and believe me when I say it: bring wild crumb to a trainer who will remain anonymous…

I skied/studied architecture at Middlebury College (in VT) before racing professionally for a team based in Craftsbury, VT. After two years of full time skiing, I lost touch with my sense of purpose, subsequently feeling burnt out, and answered the urge to move to the Wild West. Here I am!
