Endurance athletes understand that nutrition is key to long days in the mountains and a happy, healthy life.

Yet, this can be a foundational block of training that is often overcomplicated, leaving athletes overwhelmed and unable to achieve their performance goals. 

Our nutrition consultations seek to shed light on simple strategies for fueling your body for sport and life through a big picture approach focused on small consistent nutrition practices with a positive mindset toward food and activity.

Our approach includes: 

  • Fueling strategies for sport specific training

  • Nutrition planning for your event

  • Lifestyle nutrition to support training

  • Assessment of dietary practices, intake and expenditure

  • Nutrition education presentations for groups and teams

60 Minute Initial Consultation

A comprehensive nutrition assessment taking into account your goals, food preferences, intake, health, training schedule and anything else needed to get a good picture of you. From there, recommendations for your nutrition are formed.

Follow-up Sessions

These sessions are more individualized as we track your progress towards your goals, identify barriers, alter strategies, and provide education for certain situations, such as race day.

The necessity and structure of your follow up session(s) will be determined by your nutrition coach and based upon your individual needs and nutrition goals set during the first meeting.

This package includes an initial consult and 2 follow-up sessions.

Approach a new goal; first race, mountain bike competition, backcountry ski season, or mountain adventure with confidence in your nutrition! Start achieving fueling strategies, improve energy levels, complement your training or just cement in good nutrition practice.

Strategy Session

One session where we discuss nutrition fueling strategy for your upcoming event, training, or sport needs. This session does not go into depth of a full health history, instead we will discuss strategies to help optimize your energy and performance on race day. Perfect if you want to fine tune your nutrition or learn more to help optimize your performance and health.

Meet our Nutrition Team

Lover of baked goods and long days in the mountains, Colleen loves to help athletes of all levels and abilities reconnect with food, their sport, and their body without any nutrition nonsense. In addition to her personal outdoor adventures and years of experience coaching TMP athletes, Colleen is a licensed Registered Dietitian who personally understands the unique fueling demands of endurance and mountain sports. She seeks to create a positive relationship between food and athlete by empowering individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to fuel for both life and sport without taking the joy out of eating. Colleen is currently located in Salt Lake City and is available for remote nutrition counseling.

Rachel Nawrocki

Rachel is a licensed Registered Dietitian and former Division 1 ski racer. Her inner foodie loves farmers markets, charcuterie boards, and chocolate. As an avid skier, she has experience in fueling the body for training and competition. Rachel hopes to help provide skiers, climbers, bikers, runners, and athletes of all kinds with the nutrition tools and support to fuel activity from those long days out in the mountains to shorter training sessions and rest days. She also has clinical nutrition experience, and can aid the active individual in simply fueling for a healthy lifestyle and proper nutrition strategies. Rachel is located in the Bozeman area and is available for both in-person and remote clients.
