We can start getting our bodies and legs in ski shape well before we even remember to wax our skis for the season—in fact we don’t recommend skiing yourself into shape. Our 12 week ski conditioning program is built to get you ready for the snow (whether that’s in or out of bounds, on skis or a board, or you’re all things nordic) so that your muscles are primed, ready and more injury resistant come the first powder days. Also, strength and conditioning shouldn’t be boring. You can expect playful, challenging and ever-changing workouts from us that can be modified for all abilities—even if it’s your first time in a gym or your second time at the Olympics.

How does it work?

12 Weeks of Ski Conditioning.

There are 24 workouts, built on a progressive load, designed to be completed 1-2x a week over 12 weeks to prepare you for the winter season.

Workouts are 1 hour and include 10 mins to watch the coach led instructional video and 50 mins to perform the workout on your own—these are not 50 min follow along type videos.

Never Repeat a Workout.

No workouts are repeated EVER. Think fun, & hard workouts that focus on hip, core, glute & single leg strength, Plyometrics, & more. These are the same workouts our athletes are doing in the gym.

Full Exercise Video Library.

We’ve built a full video exercise library that breaks down every exercise, illustrating proper form, movement and modifications. If you are unclear how to properly perform or modify an exercise, this is your go-to resource.

Modifications Available. Equipment Optional.

We have athletes of all abilities and experiences and build workouts that can be modified to fit your experience and fitness—we encourage this!

All workouts include at-home modifications so you can work out with little to no gear. We do have a small list of recommended equipment that many members purchase or already known.

When I first started training with TMP I was an out of shape, middle-aged woman with a serious self-limiting belief system. I wasn't physically strong, never mind able to go on a hard hike. Developed from experience

If you’re new here, we’re a Bozeman, MT based gym where everything we do inside supports all you do outside. Founded by ultra runner, former lawyer, & Doritos lover Mike Wolfe—with a lot of help from the badass women & coaches, Emily Kipp & Colleen Shields—we’ve developed a community following with athletes of all ages & abilities. Many feel intimidated walking through our doors, but are surprised at just how quickly they feel welcome & notice performance differences.

TMP Train Anywhere was developed to give access to our kind of no BS, smart, playful strength training to mountain athletes everywhere.

+ Who are these training programs for?

Anyone who skis (at resorts or in the backcountry), boards (at resorts or splitboarding, or nordic skis that is looking to personally improve enjoyment or performance in the mountains. These programs have been used productively by Olympic athletes, as well as 73-year old individuals. They can be modified for any level of ability.

+ How often should I be using these workouts?

Depends upon your current training load and seasonality of your sport. In general, however, we suggest 1-2x workouts weekly. ie. When a bigger race/adventure gets closer, do less. :)

+ How long are the workouts?

Each workout is 1-1.25 hours including roughly 10-15 minutes to watch the instructional video and set up, then 50 minutes to perform the workout on your own.

+ Are the workouts LIVE?

No. Each workout comes with a 10 minute instructor led video of the workout and a written description. The instructor does not lead you through the full hour long workout. You perform it on your own.

+ Are the workouts body weight only?

No, but we design and describe each workout (in the 10-min instructional videos) to allow for equipment modifications if you are doing these from home with little or no equipment. You may want to purchase a few pieces of recommended equipment.

+ What do I get with my purchase?

24 workouts designed to be completed over 12 weeks. Each workout includes a 10-minute instructional video walking you through the workout (including modifcations) & a written description. Plus full access to our in-depth exercise library.

+ Does this program only work for skiers/boarders?

While geared towards winter snow pursuits, any active individual can benefit from our training. If you like playful, hard workouts, this is for you.

+ What if I am unsure of how to properly do an exercise? Do you provide modifications?

We include an extensive “workout library” with in-depth videos on how to properly perform and modify an exercise.

+ What if I try your program but I don't like it?

+ I have a gym membership, is Train Anywhere included?

Nope. This is a separate stand alone membership.
